Among Friends Chocolate Chip Cookies

Ingredients

• 1/2 cup butter, softened
• 1/2 cup margarine, softened
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 3/4 cup sugar
• 2 large eggs
• 1 teaspoon vanilla
• 2 1/2 cups flour
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 2 cups chocolate chips
• 1 cup chopped pecans, toasted

Recipe

• 1 blend the butter and margarine together until smooth. cream with the sugars.
• 2 add the eggs and vanilla and beat until smooth.
• 3 in a separate bowl, mix the flour, baking soda and salt. add to the creamed mixture and mix well.
• 4 fold in the chocolate chips and nuts.
• 5 drop dough onto ungreased cookie sheets, allowing at least two inches between cookies.
• 6 bake in a preheated 350 degree oven for 10 to 15 minutes (time depends on size of cookies and how you like your cookies).
