Ingredients
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon light corn syrup
Recipe
- 1 combine all ingredients in saucepan, mix well.
- 2 bring to a boil, stirring until sugar is dissolved.
- 3 cook to 236* on candy thermometer.
- 4 do not stir.
- 5 pour over cake.
