Caramel Pecan Brownies

Total Time: 45 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • 4 unsweetened chocolate squares
  • 3/4 cup margarine
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 (14 ounce) bag caramels, kraft
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 3 tablespoons milk

Recipe

  • 1 to make brownie layer:.
  • 2 melt chocolate and margarine together until chocolate is completely melted.
  • 3 stir in sugar.
  • 4 mix in eggs and vanilla.
  • 5 stir in flour and pecans.
  • 6 spread in a greased 13 x 9 pan.
  • 7 bake at 350 degrees for 30-35 minutes, or til done.
  • 8 melt the caramels, pecans, margarine, and milk togehter til caramels are completely melted.
  • 9 spread over the top of hot brownies.
  • 10 cool in pan.
  • 11 will cut better if you run your knife under hot water as you use it.
