Caramel Chocolate Bonbons

Total Time: 38 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 28 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 9
  • 250 g chocolate-covered caramel candies
  • 1 1/2 sheets puff pastry
  • icing sugar, to serve

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 200 degrees celsius.
  • 2 line a baking tray with baking paper.
  • 3 break chocolate into 9 rows of 4 blocks.
  • 4 wrap chocolate in foil and freeze for 1 hour.
  • 5 cut whole pastry sheet in half. then cut all halves into three to form 9 rectangles.
  • 6 place a rectangle on a board. brush edges with water. place 1 row of chocolate across long edge of pastry and roll up. press edges together.
  • 7 place seam side down on baking tray. repeat for all.
  • 8 bake for 18 minutes in the oven. stand for 10 minutes before serving. dust with icing sugar to serve.
