Caramel Pear Dessert

Total Time: 40 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 30 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1 1/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup brown sugar, packed
  • 1 cup quick-cooking oats
  • 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 3 medium pears, peeled and sliced
  • caramel sauce
  • whipped cream
  • caramel sauce
  • ground cinnamon

Recipe

  • 1 combine first 4 ingredients well and stir in melted butter. it will be crumbly. reserve one cup and press the rest into the bottom of a buttered pie pan or square baking dish.
  • 2 arrange pears over crust and drizzle with caramel sauce. sprinkle the reserved crust mix over top.
  • 3 bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes or until the top is golden brown and pears are tender.
  • 4 garnish with whipped cream, freshly ground cinnamon and/or additional caramel sauce.
