Ingredients

- 1 cup uncooked rice
- 5 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 liter milk
Recipe
- 1 cook rice in plenty of boiling water.
- 2 strain rice under the tap using cold water to get starch out.
- 3 mix sugar, milk, egg and vanilla.
- 4 add rice and stir well.
- 5 sprinkle with nutmeg.
- 6 bake in moderately hot oven until set. (about 2 hours).
