Blondie Drops

Ingredients
- 1/3 cup butterscotch chips
- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup fat-free buttermilk
- 2 cups light brown sugar
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1 egg
- 2 egg whites
Recipe
- 1 line two baking sheets with parchment paper and preheat oven to 350.
- 2 sift flour, baking powder, and salt in medium bowl and set aside.
- 3 in large bowl, mix together buttermilk, brown sugar, and vanilla. add eggs and mix until blended.
- 4 on low speed, add the flour mixture, mixing until combined.
- 5 melt the butterscotch chips and set aside.
- 6 drop dough teaspoons about 3 inches apart onto prepared baking sheets. drizzle about 1/4 teaspoon of melted butterscotch over the top of each cookie and gently swirl with a toothpick or small sharp knife to marbelize it.
- 7 bake the cookies one sheet at a time until the tops feel set and the edges are slightly browned, about 10 minutes.
