Ingredients
- 4 ounces baking margarine
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 3 ounces soft light brown sugar
- 2 tablespoons golden syrup
- 6 ounces self-raising flour
- 4 ounces plain chocolate chips
Recipe
- beat the butter till soft using whisk or beater, add the sugar and beat till well mixed.
- Now add rest of the ingredients which is the syrup, flour, chocolate chips and milk and mix well until well combined .
- grease baking tray .
- Take out a spoonful of mixture in your fingers at a time and make into a 1 inch ball. Or u can use icecream scoop as well.
- place cookies on a tray and bake them in batches .
- place in preheated oven to 180c/350°f bake for 8-10 minutes.
- when finished immediately transfer to a wire cooling rack.
