Butter Cake

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 3/4 cup butter
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 3/4 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/8 teaspoon almond extract
  • 2 1/2 cups sifted cake flour
  • 2 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 3/4 cup milk

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and sugar.
  • 2 add eggs and beat well.
  • 3 add extracts.
  • 4 add dry ingredients alternatly with milk starting and ending with dry ingredients.
  • 5 pour batter into 2 greased 8" pans.
  • 6 bake 350 for 30-35 minute.
  • 7 let cool 1o min before removing from pans.
