Caramel Custard

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 1/2 liter milk
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons vanilla custard powder
  • 250 ml cream

Recipe

  • 1 melt sugar in a sauce pan on low flame until completely dissolved, keep stirring.
  • 2 remove pan from stove and add half of the milk.
  • 3 bring caramel and milk mixture to boil.
  • 4 dissolve custard powder in remaining milk and add to boiling mixture.
  • 5 cook for 5 minutes on low flame or until custard become thick (also see custard's packet for instructions).
  • 6 keep custard mixture aside to cool down.
  • 7 mix cream well and serve when chilled.
