Ingredients
- 12 dried bread
- 4 cups water
- 2 cups sugar
- 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup rum
- 1/3 teaspoon ginger
- 1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
- 250 g cream, shanti
- 1 cup milk
Recipe
- 1 boil the water and sugar and lemon juice until sugar melts and it reaches the right consistency.
- 2 place the breads in a large dish.
- 3 whisk the milk with cream shanti and add ginger.
- 4 cool the syrup and add the rum.
