Butterscotch Rum Sauce

Total Time: 25 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups firmly packed brown sugar
  • 2/3 cup corn syrup
  • 1/4 cup half-and-half
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 1/2 teaspoon rum extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla

Recipe

  • 1 mix first 4 ingredients in med heavy saucepan.
  • 2 bring to a boil.
  • 3 reduce to low and cook 20 minutes.
  • 4 add rum and vanilla.
