Brandy Butter

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 1/2 cup butter
  • 1/2 cup confectioners' sugar
  • 3 tablespoons brandy

Recipe

  • 1 cream the butter until very pale and soft. beat in the sugar gradually.
  • 2 add the brandy , a few drops at a time, beating constantly. add enough for a good flavor but be careful that it does not curdle.
  • 3 pile into a small serving dish and let harden. alternatively, spread onto aluminum foil and chill until firm. cut into shapes with small fancy cutters.
