Buttery Toffee Cookies

Total Time: 50 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 40 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 (8 ounce) package milk chocolate-covered toffee bits

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
  • 2 combine butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla in large mixer bowl.
  • 3 beat at medium speed until creamy then reduce speed to low.
  • 4 add flour, baking soda and salt.
  • 5 beat until well mixed.
  • 6 stir in toffee bits.
  • 7 drop dough by rounded teaspoonfuls onto ungreased cookie sheets.
  • 8 bake for 10-12 minutes or until lightly browned.
  • 9 cool one minute then remove from cookie sheet to wire rack.
