Baked Custard

Total Time: 1 hr 10 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 1 hr

Ingredients

  • Servings: 3
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 ounces sugar
  • 3/4 pint 2% low-fat milk (warm)
  • 1/4 teaspoon nutmeg (grated, or to taste)

Recipe

  • 1 beat eggs and sugar together.
  • 2 stir in the warm milk and pour into a pie dish.
  • 3 grate a little nutmeg on top of custard.
  • 4 bake for 1 hour on low heat (250 degrees f.).
