Caramel Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 8
- 1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
- 1 regular graham cracker pie crust
- 1 banana
- 1/2 cup walnuts (chopped)
- 4 ounces cool whip
Recipe
- 1 remove label from can of sweetened condensed milk.
- 2 place on its side in pot of water.
- 3 bring water to low boil.
- 4 maintain low boil for 3 hours.
- 5 remove from pot and set aside.
- 6 slice 1 banana into the pie shell.
- 7 carefully (once the can has cooled to point you can handle it) spoon the cooked sweetened condensed milk (caramel) into the pie shell on top of bananas.
- 8 sprinkle chopped nuts on top of caramel.
- 9 refrigerate until completely cooled.
- 10 top with cool whip when ready to serve.
