Caramel Marshmallow Apples

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 6 small apples
  • 14 ounces caramels, unwrapped
  • 1 cup mini marshmallows
  • 1 tablespoon water

Recipe

  • 1 wash apples and remove stems. insert sticks and set aside.
  • 2 place wax paper on a baking sheet and spray with non stick spray.
  • 3 combine caramels, marshmallows, and water in medium pan. cook over medium heat, stirring constantly, until caramels melt.
  • 4 remove from heat and cool slightly.
  • 5 dip in caramel mixture and place on prepared baking sheet. refrigerate till firm.
  • 6 can be drizzle with melted chocolate or rolled in chopped nuts, marshmallows, m&m's--use your imagination. i sometimes use candy corn at halloween. grandchildren love these.
