Basic Cookie Mix

Ingredients

  • 4 cups sifted all-purpose flour
  • 2 1/2 cups sugar
  • 1 1/2 cups nonfat dry milk powder
  • 5 1/2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 1/2 teaspoons salt
  • 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine, melted
  • 1 egg, lightly beaten
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla

  • 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
  • 1/2 cup coarsely chopped walnuts (optional) or 1/2 cup pecans (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 in a large bowl, combine all the ingredients.
