Almond Butterscotch Bars

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 20 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter (softened)
  • 3/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups flour
  • 1 cup butterscotch chips
  • 1 cup slivered almonds

Recipe

  • 1 cream butter and brown sugar. add extracts and salt. gradually add flour, press into ungreased 10 x 15 jelly roll pan. sprinkle butterscotch chips and almonds over dough and press lightly. bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. cool and cut. adjust pan size and cooking time if you prefer a more chewy cookie.
