Almond Butterscotch Bars

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter (softened)
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon almond extract
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 cups flour
- 1 cup butterscotch chips
- 1 cup slivered almonds
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and brown sugar. add extracts and salt. gradually add flour, press into ungreased 10 x 15 jelly roll pan. sprinkle butterscotch chips and almonds over dough and press lightly. bake at 350 for 15-20 minutes. cool and cut. adjust pan size and cooking time if you prefer a more chewy cookie.
