Cake Mix Chewy Date Nut Bars

• 1 (18 ounce) box yellow cake mix
• 3/4 cup brown sugar
• 3/4 cup melted butter
• 2 eggs
• 2 cups chopped dates
• 2 cups chopped nuts

Recipe

• 1 combine cake mix and brown sugar.
• 2 add melted butter and eggs.
• 3 beat on medium speed for 2 minutes.
• 4 combine dates and nuts.
• 5 stir into batter.
• 6 batter will be stiff.
• 7 spread into greased 9x13" baking pan.
• 8 bake at 350 for 35-45 minutes or until edges are golden brown.
