Cake Donuts From The Oven

Ingredients

• 1/3 cup demerara sugar
• 1 large egg
• 2 tablespoons vegetable oil
• 3/4 cup nonfat milk
• 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
• 1 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
• 1/4 teaspoon salt
• 2 teaspoons baking powder

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven 350°f.
• 2 spray muffin tin with cooking spray.
• 3 in a large bowl, beat sugar and egg together until creamy and light-colored.
• 4 add oil, milk, and vanilla; mix well.
• 5 in a medium bowl, mix flour, baking powder, salt, and nutmeg.
• 6 combine flour mixture into egg mixture.
• 7 fill muffin tins 3/4 full.
• 8 bake for 15-20 minutes, or until toothpick comes out clean.
• 9 alternatively, bake for 8-10 minutes with miniature muffin tins.
