Apple Cranberry-nut Pie

Ingredients
- Servings: 6
- 2 sheets shortcrust pastry
- 1 egg
- 400 g pie apples
- 4 tablespoons dried cranberries (or sultanas)
- 3 tablespoons hazelnut meal
Recipe
- 1 place on sheet of pastry in the bottom of a lightly greased pie dish.
- 2 combine apples, cranberries, and hazelnut meal.
- 3 spoon apple filling into pie dish.
- 4 top with other sheet of pastry, and pinch edges together to seal.
- 5 brush with the beaten egg, and bake at 180c for 25 minutes until pastry is golden.
- 6 serve hot, with icecream.
