Berry Yogurt Cake

Ingredients

- 2 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup butter or 1/2 cup margarine
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1 egg
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 cup raspberry yogurt or 1 cup strawberry yogurt
- icing sugar
Recipe
- 1 sift together the flour, baking soda and baking powder.
- 2 cream the butter. gradually add the brown sugar, egg and vanilla. mix thoroughly.
- 3 blend in the flour and the yogurt alternating between the two.
- 4 pour batter into a greased 9-inch round cake pan.
- 5 bake at 350 f for 50 minutes.
- 6 cool for 5 minutes, turn out of the mold and continue to cool on a wire rack.
- 7 dust entire cake with icing sugar to cover.
