Boston Cream Pie

Ingredients
- 2 eggs
- 3/4 cup pastry flour
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 teaspoons hot water
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon vinegar or 1 teaspoon lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons flour
- salt
Recipe
- 1 beat egg whites till stuff - add and beat egg yolks. add sugar, water, and sifted flour with baking powder. add vinegar.
- 2 bake in deep cake pan.
- 3 split and fill with cream (custard) filling. whipped cream may be added on top or else sugar may be sprinkled over it.
- 4 cream filling: moisten with little water.
- 5 beat one egg and add to mixture. add cup hot milk. cook in double boiler. flavor with lemon.
