- 4 cups brown sugar
- 1 cup butter
- 1 gallon milk
- 12 eggs, beaten
- 1/2 cup flour
- 1/2 cup cornstarch
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 combine brown sugar and butter; set aside.
- 2 heat milk, then add eggs, flour, cornstarch and salt.
- 3 boil slowly until thick.
- 4 take off stove and add sugar mixture and vanilla.
- 5 beat with mixer until smooth.
