Butterscotch Dessert Sauce

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 1/2 cups light brown sugar, packed
  • 1/4 cup water
  • 4 tablespoons butter (no substitutions)
  • 1/2 cup nutmeats, finely minced

Recipe

  • 1 boil sugar and water together to 234f on a candy thermometer or until a small amount of the mixture forms a soft ball when dropped in cold water.
  • 2 add butter and nut meats.
  • 3 serve immediately.
