Caramelized Pineapple And Mango

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 4
  • 20 g butter
  • 1/2 ripe pineapple, peeled, cut into 2 cm pieces
  • 1 mango, peeled, cut into 2 cm pieces
  • 2 tablespoons brown sugar
  • 1 tablespoon dark rum

Recipe

  • 1 melt butter in frypan over moderately high heat.
  • 2 add fruit and cook and stir for 3 or 4 minutes till browned.
  • 3 add sugar and rum.
  • 4 cook and stir further 3 or 4 minutes till mixture thickens and caramelizes.
  • 5 cool for 30 minutes.
