A Simple Macaroon

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1/2 cup egg
  • 1 1/4 cups sugar
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla
  • 2 1/2 cups coconut

Recipe

  • 1 whip the egg whites to stiff peaks.
  • 2 add the sugar, salt and vanilla with beater/mixer running at medium speed.
  • 3 stop mixer and fold coconut into whites by hand.
  • 4 drop by the teaspoon-full onto a parchment-lined baking sheet.
  • 5 bake at 325 f for 12-15 minutes.
