Butter Pecan Cake Brownies

- 1 (18 ounce) box butter pecan cake mix
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 1 large egg
- 1 (1 lb) box confectioners' sugar (3 1/2 cups)
- 1/2 cup butter, melted
- 2 large eggs
- 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
- 1 cup pecans
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 300°.
- 2 mix first three ingredients and press into a 9 x 13" pan.
- 3 mix confectioners' sugar, melted butter eggs and cream cheese together, pour on bottom layer.
- 4 sprinkle with pecan chips.
- 5 bake for 55 minutes or until cake tests done.
- 6 cut into bars when cool.
