Butter Pecan Cake Brownies

• 1 (18 ounce) box butter pecan cake mix
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 1 large egg
• 1 (1 lb) box confectioners' sugar (3 1/2 cups)
• 1/2 cup butter, melted
• 2 large eggs
• 1 (8 ounce) package cream cheese, softened
• 1 cup pecans

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 300°.
• 2 mix first three ingredients and press into a 9 x 13" pan.
• 3 mix confectioners' sugar, melted butter eggs and cream cheese together, pour on bottom layer.
• 4 sprinkle with pecan chips.
• 5 bake for 55 minutes or until cake tests done.
• 6 cut into bars when cool.
