Candied Orange Peel

Total Time: 1 hr 40 mins Preparation Time: 25 mins Cook Time: 1 hr 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 8 oranges
  • water
  • 1 cup boiling water
  • 4 cups sugar

Recipe

  • 1 wash the oranges.
  • 2 cut into halves and squeeze out the juice.
  • 3 keep the juice and use it for something else.
  • 4 place the oranges into a large saucepan and cover with cold water.
  • 5 place over high heat and heat to a boil.
  • 6 add cold water to cover again.

  • 17 roll the strips in the remaining 2 cups of sugar.
