Best Low Fat Chocolate Chip Cookies

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 10 mins

Ingredients

  • 2 cups unbleached flour
  • 16 tablespoons smart balance light butter spread
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 2 egg whites
  • 1 egg
  • 1 (8 ounce) bag chocolate chips (i prefer dark chocolate)

Recipe

  • 1 preheat overn for 350 degrees.
  • 2 in a small/medium size bowl combine flour and baking soda and set aside.
  • 3 in a large bowl, add butter, then sugars, and blend together with an electric mixer. add eggs and blend again. then slowly add the flour/baking soda mixture. once batter is creamy, fold in chocolate chips.
  • 4 i like to use parchment paper on my non-stick baking sheets so they don't get messed up. you should be able to fit about 12 cookies on eat sheet.
  • 5 bake at 350 for about 10-12 minutes. cool on a napkin, or wire racks.
