Almond Rocha Gail Style

Total Time: 20 mins Preparation Time: 5 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 2 cups brown sugar
  • 2 cups almonds, chopped
  • 2 cups butter
  • 12 ounces hershey bars

Recipe

  • 1 sprinkle almonds onto buttered cookie sheet, reserving 1/2 cup of the nuts.
  • 2 melt butter and sugar together and bring to a roiling boil, stirring constantly. after the roiling boil begins, continue to stir constantly for 12 minutes.
  • 3 pour mixture over almonds on cookie sheet and lay the hershey bars over hot mixture to melt. make sure the mixture is all covered with chocolate.
  • 4 sprinkle with reserved almonds and let cool completly.
  • 5 break into small pieces.
