Almond Butter Balls - Danish Mandelsmørboller

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter, softened
- 3 tablespoons powdered sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
- 1 1/2 cups flour
- 1 cup chopped almonds
- 1 cup powdered sugar
Recipe
- 1 cream butter and sugar. add vanilla and almond extracts and mix well. stir in flour and fold in the chopped almonds. you may need an additional 1/2 cup of flour to get a good consistency.
- 2 shape in small balls and place on parchment lined cookie sheets.
- 3 bake in a preheated 350º oven about 20 minutes, until slightly browned. roll in powdered sugar while warm. or, for less mess, shake in a ziplock with powdered sugar while warm.
