Brownies

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 20 mins Cook Time: 35 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 12
  • 4 ounces unsweetened chocolate squares, 4 envelopes (i use choco-bake)
  • 1 cup butter (2 sticks)
  • 2 cups sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1 cup shifted enriched flour
  • 1 cup walnuts, chopped
  • frosting
  • 3 -3 1/4 cups shifted powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup milk
  • 1/4 cup butter
  • 2 (1 ounce) packets choco-bake
  • 2 teaspoons vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 melt chocolate (if using choco-bake you don't have to melt it).
  • 2 throughly cream butter and sugar add egg and beat well.
  • 3 blend in melted chocolate, vanilla, and flour.
  • 4 mis nuts into batter.
  • 5 pour batter into greased 9x13 pan.
  • 6 bake at 325 for 35 minute.
  • 7 frosting:.
  • 8 beat sugar, milk, butter, choco-bake, vanilla, and salt in small mixing bowl until smooth and creamy. makes 1 3/4 cups.
  • 9 cool brownies and then spread frosting on sprinkle with nuts.
