Brown Butter Icing Cookies

Ingredients
- 1/2 cup butter
- 1 cup brown sugar
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 1/4 cups flour
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1/2 cup butter
- 2 cups icing sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla (or more if you like)
- 2 -4 tablespoons hot water
Recipe
- 1 cream butter, sugar, eggs and vanilla. add dry ingredients. lastly add the sour cream and mix.
- 2 cook at 375 f for 7-10 minutes
- 3 icing directions.
- 4 put butter in sauce pan and stir well until it goes brown.
- 5 take off heat
- 6 add icing sugar, vanilla and water.
- 7 beat for about 10 minutes or until the butter does not separate anymore.
- 8 ice cookies after they are cooled.
- 9 the icing will slightly harden on top but stay soft on the inside.
