Blueberry Lemon Drops

Ingredients
- 1/4 lb butter, softened
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemons, rind of (grated)
- 1 egg
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 cup milk
- 1 cup fresh blueberries
- powdered sugar
Recipe
- 1 in a large bowl, beat butter until creamy.
- 2 add sugar until smooth.
- 3 beat in peel and egg.
- 4 stir together your dry ingredients.
- 5 add to mixture alternately with milk.
- 6 stir in berries.
- 7 drop dough by rounded tblsp.
- 8 onto a greased baking sheet, spacing cookies 2" apart.
- 9 bake in a preheated oven at 375* for 15 min.
- 10 or until brown.
- 11 transfer to racks.
- 12 let cool 5 min.
- 13 sift powdered sugar lightly over tops.
- 14 serve warm or let cool completely.
- 15 store in airtight container up to 3 days.
