Almond Peach Clafouti

Ingredients

  • Servings: 6
  • 3/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup amaretto liqueur
  • 1 lb firm ripe peach, peeled, pitted, sliced 1/4-inch thick (about 3 medium)
  • 1/4 cup sliced almonds
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1 large egg yolk
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, room temperature
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/4 teaspoon almond extract
  • 1 tablespoon confectioners' sugar
  • 1 cup lightly sweetened whipped cream (for serving)

Recipe

  • 1 mix 1/4 cup granulated sugar and the liqueur in mixing bowl.
  • 2 add peaches and toss to coat. let stand at room temperature 30 minutes.
