Buttery Baked Custard

Total Time: 1 hr Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 50 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 2 cups milk
  • 4 eggs
  • 1/2 cup butter, melted
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 1/2 cup flour
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla
  • 1/4 teaspoon salt

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 350°.
  • 2 blend ingredients until smooth (can use blender or food processor as well).
  • 3 pour into greased 9" wide deep pie pan or a small casserole dish.
  • 4 bake for 50 minutes or until knife inserted near center comes out clean. cool on rack for 1 hour, then refrigerate.
  • 5 note: can add a bit of nutmeg or cinnamon but is very nice "as is" as well.
