Butterscotch Sugar Drops

Total Time: 18 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 8 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine, softened
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 eggs
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 2 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
  • 1 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 10 ounces hershey's butterscotch chips
  • 1 1/4 cups chopped dried apricots

Recipe

  • 1 heat oven to 350°f
  • 2 beat butter and sugar in large bowl until well blended. add eggs and vanilla; beat well. stir together flour, baking soda and salt; gradually add to butter mixture, beating until well blended. stir in butterscotch chips and apricots. drop by teaspoons onto ungreased cookie sheet.
  • 3 bake 8 to 10 minutes or until lightly browned around edges. cool slightly; remove from cookie sheet to wire rack. cool completely.
