Ingredients

- 3 cups milk
- 3/4 cup brown sugar
- 4 1/2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 3/8 teaspoon salt
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 1 teaspoon vanilla
Recipe
- 1 scald the milk until almost boiling.
- 2 mix brown sugar, corn starch, salt in a bowl.
- 3 gradually stir part of scalded milk into dry ingredients.
- 4 stir back into remaining milk and cook over low heat until it starts to thicken up.
- 5 remove from heat.
- 6 stir in butter and vanilla.
- 7 pour into 4 dessert dishes. keep refrigerated.
- 8 can be served warm or cold. yum! :).
