Caramel Pecan Ice Cream Pie

Ingredients

  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 cup pecans, chopped
  • 1 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup oatmeal
  • 1 cup margarine
  • 1 1/2 cups caramel sauce
  • 8 cups vanilla ice cream (2 litres)

Recipe

  • 1 mix first 4 ingredients and add melted margarine.
  • 2 mix well - put in a cookie sheet with sides.
  • 3 pat thin and bake in a 400 oven for 15 minutes.
  • 4 crumble while still warm.
  • 5 cool.
  • 6 press 1/2 into 13x9 pan and drizzle 1/2 carmel sauce over crumbs.
  • 7 spread ice cream on top.
  • 8 add remaining crumbs and drizzle rest of carmel sauce.
  • 9 freeze.
