Canned Blackberry Pie

Total Time: 55 mins Preparation Time: 10 mins Cook Time: 45 mins

Ingredients

  • Servings: 8
  • 4 cups canned blackberries
  • 1 cup blackberry juice, from canned berries
  • 1/4 cup cornstarch
  • 1/4-1/2 cup sugar
  • 1 double crust pie crust

Recipe

  • 1 on stovetop stir cornstarch and sugar into juice over medium heat.
  • 2 stir until thickened.
  • 3 add blackberries.
  • 4 pour blackberry mixture into uncooked crust.
  • 5 top pie with second crust.
  • 6 seal crust by crimping and perforate the pie crust.
