- 4 cups canned blackberries
- 1 cup blackberry juice, from canned berries
- 1/4 cup cornstarch
- 1/4-1/2 cup sugar
- 1 double crust pie crust
Recipe
- 1 on stovetop stir cornstarch and sugar into juice over medium heat.
- 2 stir until thickened.
- 3 add blackberries.
- 4 pour blackberry mixture into uncooked crust.
- 5 top pie with second crust.
- 6 seal crust by crimping and perforate the pie crust.
- 7 bake at 400 for 45 minutes.
