Apple Cinnamon Bismarks

Total Time: 30 mins Preparation Time: 15 mins Cook Time: 15 mins

Ingredients

  • 1 (17 1/3 ounce) can pillsbury grands refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
  • 1 cup apple pie filling
  • 3/4 cup sugar
  • 3/4 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine, melted

Recipe

  • 1 preheat oven to 375*.
  • 2 place biscuits 2 inches apart on a greased baking sheet.
  • 3 bake 11-15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • 4 meanwhile, place pie filling in large bowl; mix well with pastry blender until no apple chunks remain.
  • 5 spoon filling into cake decorator or pastry bag fitted with a large tip; set aside.
  • 6 in medium bowl, combine sugar and cinnamon.
  • 7 dip hot biscuits in melted butter; turn over to coat both sides.
  • 8 after dipping in butter, add biscuits to sugar mixture. turn over to coat both sides.
  • 9 insert tip of decorator into sides of biscuits; squeeze small amount of filling into centers.
  • 10 serve warm.
