Carmelized Brownies

• 1 (20 ounce) box duncan hines chewy fudge brownie mix
• 3 eggs
• oil
• water
• 4 tablespoons butter
• 1 cup chopped pecans
• 1 cup brown sugar, firmly packed

Recipe

• 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees.
• 2 prepare the brownie mix according to package directions. pour batter into a greased 9x13 inch pan.
• 3 melt the butter in a small saucepan. add the pecans and sugar and cook over medium heat, stirring frequently, until the sugar dissolves.
• 4 drizzle the caramel mixture over the brownie batter and bake until a toothpick can be inserted and withdrawn cleanly, 25-30 minutes.
