Caramel Bars

Ingredients

- 32 caramels
- 3 tablespoons cream
- 3 tablespoons butter
- 3/4 cup butter
- 1 cup flour
- 1 cup oatmeal
- 3/4 cup sugar
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup chocolate chips
Recipe
- 1 melt caramels, cream and butter in a double boiler.
- 2 mix together: butter,flour,oatmeal,sugar, soda and salt mix well.
- 3 put 1/2 of this mixture in 9x13 pan and press down in pan; bake for 10 minutes @ 350.
- 4 remove from oven and pour caramel sauce over baked crust.
- 5 sprinkle with the remaining crumbs.
- 6 sprinkle chocolate chips over top and bake 15 minutes@ 350.
