Butterscotch Nut Bars

Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 cup granulated sugar
- 3/4 cup butter
- 4 eggs
- 1 cup granulated sugar
- 1 cup corn syrup
- 1/4 cup butter, melted
- 1 3/4 cups butterscotch chips
- 1 1/3 cups pecans, coarsely chopped
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 350 degrees f.
- 2 for the crust, combine all the ingredients, mixing until crumbly.
- 3 press firmly into a greased 13" x 9" pan.
- 4 bake for 15 to 18 minutes or until light golden.
- 5 for the topping, beat together the eggs, sugar, corn syrup and butter until blended.
- 6 stir in the butterscotch chips and pecans.
- 7 pour evenly over the crust.
- 8 bake for 30 minutes or until set and golden.
- 9 cool completely and then cut into bars.
