Butterscotch Crumb Apple Pie

- 4 cups pared cored and sliced tart cooking apples
- 1 1/2 teaspoons lemon juice
- 1/2 cup sugar
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- 1 (9 inch) unbaked pastry shells
- 6 ounces nestle toll house butterscotch chips
- 1/4 cup butter
- 3/4 cup flour
- 1/8 teaspoon salt
- whipped cream (optional) or ice cream (optional)
Recipe
- 1 preheat oven to 375 degrees f.
