Butterfinger Dessert Bars

Ingredients
- 1 cup butter or 1 cup margarine
- 2 cups flour
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 2 teaspoons sugar
- 4 eggs, well beaten
- 2 cups pecans
- 2 cups brown sugar
- 1/4 cup flour
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1 cup shredded coconut
- 3 cups powdered sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter or 6 tablespoons margarine
- 2 -3 tablespoons milk (half&half) or 2 -3 tablespoons cream (half&half)
- 2 teaspoons vanilla
Recipe
- 1 bars:.
- 2 mix butter,2 cups flour, salt and sugar until crumbly.
- 3 press into 9x13 cake pan.
- 4 bake 10-15 minutes at 375 degrees.
- 5 mix eggs, pecans, brown sugar, 1/4 cup flour, baking powder and coconut together.
- 6 spread over cooked crust.
- 7 bake 15 minutes more or until top is not soft.
- 8 cool.
- 9 frost with icing.
- 10 icing:.
- 11 combine powdered sugar, butter, milk, and vanilla.
- 12 mix well.
- 13 spread on cooled bars.
- 14 cut into 1" x 1 1/2" bars.
