Anisplaetzchen

Total Time: 8 hrs 45 mins Preparation Time: 45 mins Cook Time: 8 hrs

Ingredients

  • Servings: 24
  • 3 eggs
  • 1 cup sugar
  • 2 tablespoons sugar
  • 1 3/4 cups flour
  • 1 teaspoon anise (optional)

Recipe

  • 1 beat eggs on medium speed until fluffy.
  • 2 add sugar gradually, beating constantly. continue to beat for 30 minutes.
  • 3 add flour (and anise if using) and beat 3 more minutes.
  • 4 drop by teaspoonful on greased and floured cookie sheet.
  • 5 form into perfect rounds and let stand overnight, or at least 8 hours.
  • 6 bake at 325 for 10 minutes. cookies will be a very light creamy yellow.
