Ingredients
- Servings: 24
- 3 eggs
- 1 cup sugar
- 2 tablespoons sugar
- 1 3/4 cups flour
- 1 teaspoon anise (optional)
Recipe
- 1 beat eggs on medium speed until fluffy.
- 2 add sugar gradually, beating constantly. continue to beat for 30 minutes.
- 3 add flour (and anise if using) and beat 3 more minutes.
- 4 drop by teaspoonful on greased and floured cookie sheet.
- 5 form into perfect rounds and let stand overnight, or at least 8 hours.
- 6 bake at 325 for 10 minutes. cookies will be a very light creamy yellow.
- 7 let cool completely.
- 8 store in air tight jar.
