Caramel Cookie Squares

Ingredients

• 1 cup butter, softened
• 1 lb dark brown sugar
• 2 eggs
• 1 1/2 cups flour, sifted
• 2 teaspoons baking powder
• 2 cups pecans, chopped
• 1 dash salt
• 2 teaspoons vanilla
• powdered sugar

Recipe

• 1 cream butter and brown sugar together.
• 2 add eggs one at a time beating well after each addition.
• 3 add flour and baking powder; mix well.
• 4 stir in pecans, salt and vanilla.
• 5 pour into a greased and floured 13x9x2 inch baking dish.
• 6 bake for 25-30 minutes at 350.
• 7 cool, cut into squares and dust with powdered sugar.
